This lesson is a nice way to assess student's cursive skills We searched books and online sites for quotes. We discussed them and had students explain what the quotes mean. The students picked a quote that they really liked and wrote it in cursive on a piece of paper. Then they illustrated using water colors. I loved the quotes they picked!
